I'm a passionate UI/UX designer, currently based in Auckland with an open work visa. With over three years of dedicated UI/UX freelancing and an extensive background in media and graphic design spanning five years, I've developed a rich foundation of design expertise. I'm well versed in UI/UX design principles and the design process. Having worked in many real life UI/UX design projects, I have groomed myself to be a practical designer with positive work ethics.
My journey into design began with a strong academic foundation at the University of Moratuwa, where I graduated as the top student in my batch, holding a GPA of 3.9 in B. Design. Complementing this, I also earned an MBA and a Bachelor in Science, allowing me to blend creative thinking with a strategic mindset.
My expertise is rooted in understanding UI/UX principles, and I'm committed to applying these principles to design solutions that solve complex problems. My proficiency in tools like Figma and the Adobe Suite enables me to transform ideas into visually compelling, user-centric designs. Worked as a UI / UX designer for this AI based chat robot. Worked on the user dashboard and and how details, numerics, graphs and complex data have to be visualised in a simple way.
